  • Sobre o preenchimento da inscrição

    A inscrição é realizada em 3 partes. A primeira pede informações sobre seu perfil pessoal e acadêmico, redações e gravação de um vídeo de apresentação. A segunda etapa consiste em um teste de lógica e, a terceira, uma prova de inglês.

    Ao longo da primeira etapa, lembre-se de clicar no botão “Salvar” no fim da tela para poder receber o link do formulário que permitirá que você continue sua inscrição em outro momento.

    Nas etapas de lógica e inglês, não é possível salvar as respostas para continuar depois, e você terá um tempo limite para resolver as provas.

    Você será avisado antes de passar de uma etapa para a próxima.

  • Critérios para inscrição

    Abaixo, você encontra os requisitos de elegibilidade do programa PREP Program. É necessário que você atenda a estes critérios para começar sua inscrição.

    Você afirma que:

    (1) Está no penúltimo ou último ano do ensino médio*;

    (2) Não iniciou uma graduação;

    (3) Pretende enviar sua candidatura para universidades americanas no ciclo 2027-2028;

    (4) Não é beneficiário de outro programa preparatório gratuito;

    (5) É brasileiro nato ou naturalizado.

    *Se você estiver no 1º ano, pode preencher a inscrição como forma de treinamento para o próximo ano.

  • In this section, you’ll answer three short-response essay questions. Your writing must be in English. These prompts are your opportunity to help us get to know you beyond academics. We want to get to know your story, your passions, values, challenges, and your unique way of seeing the world.

    There’s no timer in this section, so you can reflect and write at your own pace. What matters most to us is the content and authenticity of your answers. We’re looking to understand who you are, so we care far more about your voice and story than about perfect grammar or punctuation.

    It is not allowed to use any type of external help—such as artificial intelligence tools—to write or edit your answers, and we’ll be comparing your writing here with your English test scores and your video. Remember: we are more interested in what you have to share than in any minor English mistakes.

    So be yourself. We genuinely want to hear from you.

    You’ve reached the final stage of the FIRST PART of your application: it’s time to record a video!

  • Instructions

    You must record a 2-minute personal presentation video in English, sharing your background, briefly covering your starting point, and focusing on your main academic and professional achievements.

    We suggest you spend 30 seconds on your starting point—this means describing where you come from, such as your family context or any circumstance that shaped the beginning of your journey. Then, spend around 1 minute on your key accomplishments and the final 30 seconds talking about your goals for the future. Remember: the video must not exceed 2 minutes! Take this opportunity to show aspects that cannot be conveyed through text or your résumé alone—explain why and how you made decisions to prioritize certain activities or projects in your professional, academic, or personal life. You can also watch the instructions in the video below.

  • Tips:

    • Don’t just list everything on your résumé. Link your steps. Add depth to your story and highlight the outcomes of your experiences;
    • With only 2 minutes, it’s important to stay concise and focus on what really matters. So, try not to get sidetracked and avoid including unnecessary details.
    • Cohesion: the whole must make sense. Check if your narrative is coherent and whether your actions truly help a stranger understand who you are today and what you want;
    • Avoid clichés and adjectives: saying that studying abroad “helped you learn about other cultures” or an internship “helped you understand how things work in practice” doesn’t say much. Claiming you’re “persistent” or that “when you want something you go after it” says even less. Let your story show these qualities through examples.
    • You should not read while recording yourself. It’s perfectly fine to plan what you’re going to say, but we don’t recommend memorizing the text either. Practicing a few times before you start recording can help you feel more confident and reduce the need for many retakes. We don’t expect a professional video—the goal is to get to know you better and to see how you express yourself orally in English.

     

    Orientations:

    The video must be no longer than 120 seconds (2 minutes), must not include background music, and can feature any setting (even your bedroom wall!). Candidates should not speed up their speech, and it is mandatory that they appear in the video telling their story. Be careful with editing to speed up the speech or cutting the video.

    Remember to record in landscape orientation and upload the video properly. We do not accept videos in the "Shorts" format.

    This is a key opportunity for you to present your ideas; focus on the content, not on the video production.

    The video content will be used exclusively by Fundação Estudar for selection purposes.
